Selling a pair of 906 Vortec heads with matching intakes. This is the same type as the 062, except that some of the 906 heads (not all) have hardened valve seats. This is GM's "most bang for the buck" topper, with sufficient "flow" for over 400 hp, but which with original springs and pressed rocker arm bolts can only handle up to about .490" in lift. These have been rebuilt by me with screwed rocker arm bolts and stiffer springs, which can handle up to .550" of lift. So-called Beehive valve springs. I've been running them with .533" lift for a few seasons now without any problems. If you have higher lift, do your homework and check that it works, but as I said, the springs are designed for lift up to .550". Haven't raced them, so they haven't been used much. The tops have never overheated in my ownership. Bought them used around 2002, and had them stored dry until 2017. Have used the extra thin top gasket type (Shim gasket) at only .015" thickness, with no hint of leaks, so the tops are straight and nice. See link below with dyno test of 410 HP and review of a reliable combination including the same type of tops. This combination is very similar to what I've driven, and it's no more extreme than the fact that you still have plenty of vacuum for the servo brakes and the idle is nice and smooth at under 800 rpm.
